Available now in beta for free trial users and Intruder customers on the Cloud, Pro and Enterprise plans, GregAI saves you time and streamlines security workflows by prioritizing issues, offering validation and remediation advice and producing summarized reports for key stakeholders.
Contextual security intelligence for streamlined workflows
Security teams face an overwhelming volume of vulnerability data and often operate with limited resources. Manual processes for vulnerability validation, risk assessment and stakeholder communication consume significant time that could be spent on actual remediation. GregAI accelerates these workflows by combining AI intelligence with real-time platform data.
GregAI’s access to information about your security posture within your Intruder account allows it to deliver insights and recommendations tailored to your specific security environment. While standalone AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini are limited by the context you provide them, GregAI delivers recommendations based on your current infrastructure configuration, latest security scan results, external threat intelligence, applicable compliance frameworks and more.
Building on the release of the Intruder MCP server that allows customers to interact with Intruder through their own AI Models, GregAI enables similar outcomes without having to integrate with MCP servers or maintain separate AI subscriptions.
Who’s Greg though?
Greg started out his Intruder career as our logo and mascot. He got his name after a delightful misunderstanding over the naming of a design file (the designer was named Greg, and the file was named after him) – and so, Greg was born!
With the huge advancements in AI in recent years, Greg has now been promoted to an always-on assistant to help our customers streamline their security workflows.
A fundamental part of our vision at Intruder is that when we say it’s critical, you know you need to act fast. We’ve taken care to make sure that Greg provides balanced advice on the latest vulnerabilities. He’s not prone to hysteria, and will try to give you the best recommendations to keep your attack surface secure from the latest threats.
Greg can see almost everything in your Intruder account, and that makes him helpful in a variety of ways.
How can I use GregAI?
GregAI is designed to save you time at all stages of your security workflows.
Issue prioritization
Greg gathers all the context needed to help you focus on the attack surface weaknesses that pose the biggest risks. This includes CVSS scores, exploit likelihood (EPSS) and other vulnerability intelligence. You can also share details of any compliance frameworks you adhere to and GregAI will factor that into the priority list.

Vulnerability validation
When vulnerabilities are detected, Greg can assist in verifying if they are genuine issues or false positives. While he can’t run the validation for you automatically (watch this space...), GregAI offers step by step guidance on how to validate the issues in your environment.

Remediation guidance
When you’re ready to resolve a vulnerability, Greg can guide you through the best practice for fixing it and deploying a patch. If you get lost along the way, ask for clarification or give Greg more context by describing what you’ve done and where you’re running into trouble.

Management summaries
Keeping stakeholders informed of what’s going on and demonstrating cyber hygiene is a part of the job, but it can also be a time drain. What’s next for GregAI?
GregAI and the recent launch of the Intruder MCP server allow customers to proactively engage with the data and functionality of the Intruder platform using modern AI models, and there’s more to come.
From day one, we’ve been focused on making cyber security accessible to all, and our vision for AI aims to build on our best in class user experience by empowering lean security teams with a fully-fledged virtual security analyst.
In the near term, this means expanding Greg’s capabilities to do anything a user could do in the Intruder platform – from launching scans to adding new targets. Instead of clicking through the platform to execute these tasks, you’ll be able to ask Greg.
But even more exciting than what we have today, is what’s coming next… We’re already working on new AI-powered features like automated false positive validation that will free up even more of your time, and allow you to focus on fixing real risks.
